Women’s Dive Day

We are celebrating International Women’s Dive Day Saturday, July 15 from 10am – 5pm. The day will be an opportunity to honor our divers’ amazing work and to support the female dive community and their passion for diving and aquatic life. International Women’s Dive Day is a growing tradition that the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) established to narrow the gender gap in diving and to strengthen the diving community as a whole.

The Aquarium’s spotlight on women divers includes underwater Q&A sessions with our female dive team. Guests will be able to ask questions about our animals, exhibits, and anything about SCUBA diving and how to get involved in the craft.

Certified divers are eligible for $5 off same-day general admission for them and one (1) guest on International Women’s Dive Day with presentation of proper ID.* Certified guests visiting July 15 will also be entered to win a free Shark Dive CLE experience. Shark Dive CLE includes admission into the Aquarium for the diver and one (1) viewing guest, a tour of the Aquarium dive platform, an exhibit walk-through and fish identification session, one (1) dive in the 230,000-gallon shark exhibit, use of all dive equipment needed AND as many souvenir shark teeth as the guest diver can find.

Not certified? Local dive shops are being invited to setup throughout the Aquarium to offer information on certification classes, gear, and everything guests need to know to dive into the fun.

*Dive Day discounts can only be applied to in-person admission purchased on July 15 before 4pm at the Aquarium front ticket counter. Admission must be used that day and cannot be combined with another offer.
