An Aquarium Partnership with a Seafood Restaurant? Our Partnership with Pier W

« All Posts »

The Greater Cleveland Aquarium has partnered with Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant that is widely known for serving a critically acclaimed sustainable seafood menu to bring guests an educational and delightful seafood meal.

Pier W was designed to resemble the hull of a luxury liner cruising along Lake Erie and sits in a unique waterfront location in Lakewood. Offering spectacular views of Lake Erie and the Cleveland Skyline, Pier W’s intriguing design, knowledgeable staff, and fabulous fresh fish menu have made Pier W one of the top places to dine in Cleveland. This five star restaurant boasts a sophisticated, urbane environment reflective of its cuisine and lakeside setting.

With the perfect partnership, Pier W and the GCA have joined together to offer a deliciously fun dinner event on August 22nd. A special menu will be developed for the dinner specifically, where a health conscious meal will be served and paired with wines. This menu will feature sustainable fish from all over the world. Pier W is known for their “fresh” philosophy, which dictates that their relationship is directly with the fisherman. Fish, mussels, lobster, clams, scallops and shrimp are all called from responsible sources and, because of this “fresh” philosophy, the exact menu has not been completed just yet as it depends on what is in season and what is available at that time. Tickets can be purchased online at Seats are most definitely limited so we ask that you purchase your tickets in a timely manner.
