Water Wonders Summer Camp
Age: Preschool or entering Kindergarten (4 & 5 years old)

It’s time to have fun with water! We’re the only planet that has it in all 3 forms, after all! Do wet ‘n’ wild science experiments, meet aquatic animals up close and personal, play fishy games, make aquatic crafts and snacks in this fun-filled marine camp for your little nature lovers! Last day includes a parent/camper day at Edgewater Beach.
Weird and Wonderful Summer Camp
Age: Entering grades 1-2
Dates: July 7 to 11 & July 28 to Aug 1
Time: 9:00AM to 3:00PM.
Ever wonder why a stingray feels slimy, or where a turtle goes in winter? Get ready to explore the weird and wonderful world of some truly unique aquatic animals from urchins to sharks and even hippos! We’ll investigate some of the very unusual animals that call the water home. We’ll even visit the Zoo in search of critters who make their homes in the water. Gooey crafts, sea stories, and astonishing activities will guide our adventure into the deep! (Field trip to the Zoo included)
Aquatic Adventure Summer Camp
Age: Entering grades 3-5
Dates: June 23 to June 27 & July 14 to 18
Time: 9:00AM to 3:00PM
All aboard for an aquatic adventure in your own backyard! Encounter sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, and turtles at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium summer camp. Campers explore Ohio fish in their native habitat at Cleveland Metroparks Canal Way Center, take a boat ride on the Nautica Queen to explore the Cuyahoga and Lake Erie, meet an aquarium diver, feed our animals, play seafaring games and make fishy crafts. At the end of the week campers take their parents on a tour of the aquarium and share all they’ve discovered on their week-long exploration. End each day’s adventure with an animal feeding demonstration. (Field trip to canal place & Nautica Queen included)
Marine Scientists in Training Summer Camp
Age: Entering grades 6 to 8
Dates: June 16 to 20 & July 21 to 25
Time: 9:00AM to 3:00PM
Ever wonder what it takes to take care for hundreds of aquatic animals on a daily basis? Get the “back of house scoop” on running an aquarium in this camp for campers who are interested in marine science. Work closely with our education and aquarist staff to get behind the scenes, run water tests, have up-close creature encounters, and participate in marine science investigations and conservation activities at a Lake Erie beach. Become a Junior Aquarist!
