The Greater Cleveland Aquarium has partnered with Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant that is widely known for serving a critically acclaimed sustainable seafood menu, as part of our FISH DAYS OF SUMMER event to bring you an educational and delightful seafood meal.
Pier W was designed to resemble the hull of a luxury liner cruising along Lake Erie and sits in a unique waterfront location in Lakewood. Offering spectacular views of Lake Erie and the Cleveland Skyline, Pier W’s intriguing design, knowledgeable staff, and fabulous fresh fish menu have made Pier W one of the top places to dine in Cleveland. This five star restaurant boasts a sophisticated, urbane environment reflective of its cuisine and lakeside setting.
On August 24th and 25th, the topic for the weekend is fish in conservation. With the perfect partnership, Pier W and the GCA have joined together to offer two deliciously fun dinner night on August 22nd, fitting in nicely with the overall themes of those separate weekends.
A special menu will be developed for these dinners specifically, where a 4 course health conscious meal will be served and paired with wines. This menu will feature sustainable fish from all over the world. Pier W is known for their “fresh” philosophy, which dictates that their relationship is directly with the fisherman. Fish, mussels, lobster, clams, scallops and shrimp are all obtained from responsible sources and, because of this “fresh” philosophy, the exact menu has not been completed just yet as it depends on what is in season and what is available at that time. Tickets can be purchased online at greaterclevelandaquarium.com. Seats are most definitely limited so we ask that you purchase your tickets in a timely manner.
