Be part of a drive that helps Northeast Ohioans in need during the 4th annual Touchdown for Hunger, a donation event benefiting the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland. Those determined players who get off the sidelines to bring jars of peanut butter, boxes of oatmeal, cans of beans and other non-perishable food items to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium on Sunday, November 5th between 10am and 4pm are guaranteed to score discounted $7 same-day admission to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium – a savings of 50 – 70%.
“Last year the one-day Touchdown for Hunger brought in donations of $1,200 and nearly 400 non-perishable items,” says Aquarium GM and Splash Fund Director Tami Brown. “Our team is honored to be able to support the efforts of a Network that provided more than four-and-a-half million meals in 2016.” The Hunger Network’s 82 Hungers Centers throughout Cuyahoga County nourish Cleveland families throughout the year.
The Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland reduces hunger and enhance nutrition in our community by providing food and other health related vital services to individuals and families by actively and effectively participating in a coordinated response to people in need.
*For every one (1) non-perishable food item donated, a guest receives one (1) voucher for discounted admission on November 5, 2017 only. Ticket is not valid with any other discount.
